H I S T O R Y

Bast was born to a family of deep faith in the days of yore, with the old Egyptian mythology and the likes. Her family's surname influenced her chosen name of "Bast", as well as their profession as big chain perfume experimentalists. In short, her family runs a cosmotology company, and Bast became the face of said company when she turned fifteen.

She grew up in the cities of the world, promoting their business with her kind and timid nature, yet fast determination to get the contract if it was what her father wanted. She was tutored through these years and as a result has some issues knowing how to act in a social setting that doesn't involve trying to sell herself, or something.

Bast, now at twenty five, runs the company with her brother after their father retired. However, her brother is the one who travels while Bast spends most of her time in Cairo, developing new products and the likes. She has only had one incident as far as her power goes, with a tarot card reader when she had just turned fourteen, who looked at her and told her what was to come.

Unsure what to think of it, Bast continued experimenting with her affinity with scent and discovered, while playing in the company's laboratories, that she could, only by sensing, mix various potions or perfumes with different "powers", so to speak.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Bast is determined, perhaps, but she's also fairly friendly and will go out of her way to help, if she can. She hates not having anything to do, and keeps as busy as possible, almost to the point of working herself into exhaustion.
